Villains stats don't mean much since only 30 hands but he had been splashing around.

Bet the turn to get out all the pairs he could have, and then check fold the river and next time bet bigger in the flop even a pot size bet looks good to me, if he had Ax he's going to call with his draws so you have to put him in a tough spot

What?!

This seems like an obvious WA/WB spot. We can't catch up to a straight, and the pairs have 2 outs. Induce bluffs.

Hi IPlay
You can check turn river and try to get to show down, with 77-qq type hands he will check behind. You will lose to Ax type hands. No need to worry about protecting with KK because you will have enough Ax in this spot.

Good luck!

Hero ???
I think it just depends what you put him on preflop. What range is he calling $1.50 with ?

AK maybe, AQ/AJ suited maybe, or pocket pair.

I think I would have bet more on the flop, maybe $4, rather than $1.71 . It will give AK AQ AJ a tougher decision and maybe you get a fold from those three hands. If you are called (leading out $4), my feeling is that your opponent is more likely to have a reasonably high overpair (88 99 1010 JJ). I think QQ and AA would have reaised you preflop, but maybe he is super sneaky !

You have to structure the hand and betting in such a way, as to avoid having to make a tougher decision on the turn.

Once that turn card comes, you have to go with your preflop read.

With this board on the flop I agree to bet bigger.

The turn sucks, I check, I fold to a jam, call a reasonable bet. Villain have to think that you could be trapping him with an ace here as there are no reasons to think you wouldn't c-bet ak yourself otf, so it's very much in your range. Thus, I would give credit to a shove, would be a reckless bluff with an overpair imo but who knows what they think...

Calling a jam?
Yeah, I guess. But I'm a spew monkey in these spots against splashy players.

I'm not sure he turns 77 into a bluff here though, and there aren't a lot of non-Ax floats I don't think either (this guy raises flush draws right).

Im betting round 55% and shoving river ... if we beat so be it.

Nothing worse than check folding best hand.

Ax will fold out a lot on flop and if he peels this we are def making our money from betting bigger

I bet 2/3 pot. I can't see BB call out of position a 3bet with suited connectors or small pair. I think he has AK or AQ, so you are behind, check or fold seems an acceptable decision, since you don't many information about your opponent

I would check on turn, or small bet, big bet(bluff) here is so risky..
