You played it great, difficult to get away from such spots. Just a cooler hand. Nothing wrong with your play though. Just put it out of your mind and on to the next hand. :icon_albi

4-bet range? With that number of hands his range should be quite accurate.
Anyway . I do not understand your call preflop. What was your plan? Put down almost 30% of your stack and than what? If you think that you beat his 4-bet range with QQ(doubt it) than why not shove pre? What did you think that will help you if you see the flop? I do not think position matter anymore because it is a fold or shove on the flop giving stacks to pot ratio.

IMO it is shove or fold preflop. If his 4-bet is less than 3 than you should fold IMO.

Depends on his 4bet%. If it's anywhere near as wide in relation to his 3bet then I 5bet shove Queens.

Highly doubt his 4bet is very wide though, barely anyone 4bets light since most players at 10nl don't 3bet enough. 4bets are like always Aces or Kings at this level.

Maybe folding to the 4bet would be better.

Question :
If it were a 4-bet shove , would you put also AK in his range ?

If his range is KK,AA,AK you are behind a lot. Like 40/60 .
Use Pokerstove or Equilab or Ace Poker Drills to see how QQ goes against AA,KK,AK range.

thank you for your help everyone
I have learned now that as much as it sucks throwing away QQ in 6 max game , it's probably the better decision facing a 4 bet

* at these stakes anyway

I think you can save your 3/4 stack on the flop.

I just asked because usually at these stakes people have a hard time folding AK so im thinking a 4 bet shove sometimes means AK

AK is not weak. QQ is slightly favourite against it. But against the entire range AK,KK,AA (that is what is important) QQ is behind.

I don't think it's hard to get off at these stakes. Many players will have a 4bet range of KK/AA, maybe AKs as well. I'd fold to the 4bet probably

There are 16 kinds of AK, and 12 kinds of AA/KK, so you shall still fold here and the EV is negative.
