iPoker - €0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (MP): 111.3 BB
CO: 27.6 BB (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 12.96, 3Bet Preflop: 7.14, hands: 57)
BTN: 50.2 BB (VPIP: 32.95, PFR: 18.18, 3Bet Preflop: 5.00, Hands: 88)
SB: 100 BB (VPIP: 23.08, PFR: 13.88, 3Bet Preflop: 4.72, Hands: 4,123)
BB: 106.4 BB (VPIP: 19.44, PFR: 2.78, 3Bet Preflop: 5.88, Hands: 37)
UTG: 109.7 BB (VPIP: 15.45, PFR: 12.83, 3Bet Preflop: 2.97, Hands: 353)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T:heart: T:diamond:

UTG raises to 3 BB, Hero calls 3 BB, fold, fold, SB raises to 16 BB, BB calls 15 BB, fold, Hero calls 13 BB

Flop: (51 BB, 3 players) 3:heart: 2:club: 3:spade:
SB checks, BB bets 15 BB, Hero calls 15 BB, fold

Turn: (81 BB, 2 players) 3:club:
BB bets 20 BB, Hero calls 20 BB

River: (121 BB, 2 players) 7:heart:
BB bets 55.4 BB, Hero calls 55.4 BB

Hero mucks T:heart: T:diamond: (Full House, Threes full of Tens) (Pre 19%, Flop 8%, Turn 5%)
BB shows K:spade: K:heart: (Full House, Threes full of Kings) (Pre 81%, Flop 92%, Turn 95%)
BB wins 216.4 BB

I was all ready to fold the hand but when the BB calls it's not a horrible idea set mining this? Or would you say I have no business in this hand after the 3 bet?

Now if the SB leads on the flop I would fold but the BB makes an unusually small bet I just kept getting trapped in it. I mean he could have tried to set mine with 44-99 no? Can I ever fold the river? The big problem was I knew nothing about the villain.

On a 6 player table, TT is a strong hand. If it was me, I would have re-raised the UTG pre-flop. I want to play TT heads up if at all possible. The V would most likely 3 bet it and his 3 bet range against 2 early raises is most likely a higher PP. Any big Ax hand is either folding or flatting, and any lower PP trying to set mine is flatting (if they even move forward with their hand).

Raising PF in this spot would give you the info necessary to make a tough fold.

Fold pre to the 3-bet. TT is pretty junky against someone who 3-bets tight like that, and your hand is face up since you flatted the first raise. You're lucky you didn't get Zeebo'd.

It was an easy laydown pre flop, don't know why you made the call. Maybe because initial raiser called the 3bet so thought you are getting priced in but you should be avoiding such spots instead of looking for value.

The 3bet was 5 times initial raise which was so huge. So yes it was a bad idea set mining here.

Yes I know the 3 bet was huge and I was going to fold 100% if the BB didn't call this. BTW the original raiser didn't call it was the BB. And I have position on both the players, how tasty it would be if a T comes on the flop and I am facing action from both of them?

And how terrible I would feel if I fold and flop a set?

But ya I think I really have trouble folding PP pre IP and its an aspect of my game I should be working on.

Ya that might have saved me. I am 100% sure the SB had AK so when I 3 bet UTG the SB might 4 bet me and I don't know what the V would have done then but it certainly would have gotten very expensive for me. However if neither SB nor BB 4 bets then I would have been in big trouble anyways.

And I just don't 3 bet much my range is quite limited. I am just not comfortable 3 betting with middle hands. I know that's not good for my stats but its an aspect of my game I haven't yet fully worked on. I only recently started 3 betting JJ.

You call the 3-bet with only one plan in mind. To flop a set. When a tight passive guy like that 3-bets, your TT is only a regular pair even though it looks nice. It has the same value as 44 for example. TT or 44 on that board against that guy play the same. Don't you agree?
So remember . You call just to semine nothing beyond the flop. If it was a guy with stats like 50/40 and 12% 3-bet than it is another story.

I agree completely but the problem with this hand is that the one who 3 bet isn't the one who lead out the flop. Its a totally unknown guy who flat called 15 BB and then leads out small on the flop.

I just saw that. Sorry for my mistake. I read the hand wrong and I think my predecesors did too:). I would make the same play as you preflop though and fold on the flop although it is less than 1/3 on the flop. His range is strong like hell since he is passive and gives action and SB is yet to play. SB's check looks like AK but he can be trapping. Both players 3-betting range beats your TT although we do not have much on BB.
