only play a few hands with villian. What is the best way to do?
This is a common situation I met often. The board is pretty wet. I do not think call is a good idea

BB: $11.54 (115.4 bb)
MP: $11.25 (112.5 bb)
Hero (CO): $10 (100 bb)
BTN: $13.60 (136 bb)
SB: $10 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A

MP folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BTN raises to $1.05, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.75

Flop: ($2.25) K

Hero bets $1.12, BTN raises to $3.04,

Calling the 3bet preflop was the bad idea. Don't lead the flop and as played just get it in.

BTN seems like a reg from bet sizing. So I probably 4bet pre as he probably 3bets wider OTB and we're OOP.

ok. several question
About 4bet pre, I am not very good at it. Is it a regular play to 4bet to 2.50. How to act if he all in. Just give up?

about the flop:
You guys said to check, is that because he will usually cbet.
I just do not want to give him a free card for some straight dr.

As played all in is better than call, right?

The only worry there would be a set or pocket aces. If he has either of those you're just doomed, although a set of kings is unlikely since you have one of them, and it's unlikely he would've raised preflop with pocket 3's. So at this point I'd only be realistically putting him on two hands, either pocket aces, or pocket jacks. AK is also a possibilty.

You have top pair, top kicker, with backdoor draws to nut possibilities. That's an easy all-in after seeing a flop like that, and if he does have aces or jacks, that's just a cooler that you really can't do much about. If he has the AK you'll likely be splitting. You really have no option here but to try and get it all in now, on the flop.

3bet to about 9bb-11bb and 4bet to ~22bb depending on size of 3bet.

Checking is better because if we bet and he raises we're not in a tough spot. Check/calling keeps his range much wider (he's just cbetting) and so its a more profitable call.

Don't be scared of possible straight cards rolling off.

Yeah sorry I meant if we lead and get raised on the flop we are in a tough spot. Hence c/c is better.
