No real stats on this guy, kinda loose.
I was already nervous with the A, but when it gets check to me with the two hearts I think Im good.
Bet turn or check and slow down?

Read the basics, because this spot is basic.

Better yet, read everything you can get your hands on.

If you know about the above post, and you're still c-betting this, then you have an automatic bet on the turn.

Thanks for turning me on to that post. I've only got about 50k hands and have been looking for these WA/WB situations.

I misplayed the hand then as I checked the turn

Turn: ($2.85, 2 players) 4:spade:
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($2.85, 2 players) K:spade:
BB bets $2.20, Hero calls $2.20

And I am guessing calling the river was way bad then.

Im reading and trying to educate myself. i just picked up ed millers small stakes holdem and am getting through that post you gave me.

As C9 pointed out this is a wa/wb spot on flop.

If you were betting for value on the flop then it's a bet on the turn for the same reasons you wouldn't be bluffing at this card.

Check flop, call a turn bet, check/ fold river i think?
