You were bound to double up this villain no matter what in this scenario unless there was some weird play in terms of bet sizing or some some slow play. I wouldn't bother much as such situations are almost unavoidable.:)

An over pair is the nuts with a stack to pot ratio of 5:2. Lose to his aces, say nice hand, know you made the right play.
