I'm not sure if raising the river is any good here and as played do I need to fold to a shove? also sizing, even if raising river is all right should I be sizing it smaller

So far my thinking is that raising river is a mistake. Like I'm only getting called by better and folding out worse aren't I?

It seems safe to assume his calling range includes some hand you beat such as a worse 9, KJ, possibly some hands with a K or even a J if he puts you on a missed heart draw. The question is whether such hands constitute enough of his range to warrant raising while taking into account that he might also re-pop it.

Don't think I like the raise on river. It's actually pretty small, but if we make it bigger don't think we can fold to a shove based on pot odds. Like you said already, a matter of we fold everything we beat and everything that beats us calls/shoves our river raise.

yeah, always raise that turn with that texture. Even with no reads, about 100% of the time.

I like this river raise. There are a ton of worse hands that you get called by. Sizing is noy too bad either imho.

Yeah the more I look at the hand the more I think that there are enough 98, T9, Q9, and some KJ hands that could call the raise. Still have the possibility of running into T8 and QT though for a made straight that isn't folding. But it would truly suck if we got jammed on because there is no way that we could get away from the hand with the price we would be getting to call.
