i flat.

i think he 3bs AK, KK and TT, maybe even 77 too so you dont have to worry about a set. i think a guy with these stats folds KTo pre, but he can prob have KTs. much more of the time though i think this is going to be KQ/KJ and youve got him against the ropes. because he either has a worse king or is bluffing with total air, so i dont like 3bing turn. instead, flat, let him see a river (hes going to bet all kings obv) and if hes bluffing will prob just shut down.

the other alternative is that hes semibluffing QJ, also highly plausible imo- in which case lol if the ace peels- ie let him draw to it

what does he usually donk with? slash whats his donkbet stat. people tend to donk a ton wider when they called to defend their blinds.

EDIT: also, i like you just calling the flop

I'd probably raise the flop. Lots of draws might call as do worse kings because people go ape shit in the blinds

Ya, I'm pumping up the flop. A normal TAG taking this line has a set (especially the bad ones at 10NL), but this guy's AF leads me to believe his range is much wider and includes 89/QJ/KQ that will have equity to call or spazz shove over us.

As played, we pretty much should always flat the turn methinks. We've taken away 3 of his ace outs, and his line just got a lot stronger. Plus he's not going to stack his semibluffs with just 1 card to come.

Just for the record we have trips not TPTK and we although we are getting ch/raised on the turn we were donked into on the flop, so beluga doesn't apply.

As for raising the flop I'm torn. He so aggro that letting him bet and acting weak by just calling may be best since he probably doesn't really need much of anything to donk the flop.

The beluga theoreme dictates that when your raised on the turn your generely not good with top pair(but I don't think it applies in this situation)

Flop is good. I bet more on the turn for value and shove over. What are we afraid of here? Top trips versus an active guy, easy ship for me.

Also Fletch, just a general note on your stats because it lists all 380k of them haha. Pull up your PFR some more, get it to around 17. Raise at any chance instead of limping. And be more aggressive in spots postflop such as one like this, as your AF is a little low. I realize that you may have changed your game up and the stats are weighted by hands played years ago. If so, disregard.

Thanks Nathan. Yea, my stats are changing. I will be starting a new cash thread when I have around 25K hands and then only putting those stats in. I am playing at 888 since I have a roll there, and am only BARELY rolled for 2nl at stars now - :-( went from a BR for 10 to 2nl..., so at 888 I am playing. I will eventually try to grind my BR back up at stars, but I have $s at FTP so when they come back I will be rolled again.

On a side note, at 888 the play is incredible at time. I see players play stats like 95/45, 50/2 48/15, stuff like this, and it is on a regular basis. I had a table with players like this on my left and right, so I found myself doing more calling and limping behind in certain situations. I get guys who fold to 3 bets 100% so I dont want to push them out. And guys who call 3 bets always so I dont want to be building pots with hands that are to good to fold, but not sure to be ahead.

As a rule, tho, I am 3 betting more and calling less, especially OOP. I still am too weak post, but am getting better.
