Starting to post this hand on here has edged me towards a clear fold but I am going to post my thoughts as of today anyway..

Interesting table dynamics in that a really really bad player has just left the table, the type who would limp/call pf then shove to a lot of flop bets with no pair, draw etc.. I had a bit of history on this guy and had been playing very loose isolating him with lots of hands to hit flop hard enough to call his shove (ie middle pair in some cases) - I am mentioning this as the Villain in the posted hand joined the table in the middle of this and must had had me down as fairly loose player.. I had also had a decent run of cards against his pf raises and had 3bet him a few times in the last few rotations.

Obviously i'm crushed by sets but think i'm ahead of quite a bit of his range as well especially with the dynamics that have been going on..

Villain is playing 30/21/4 over 109 hands with 0% fold c bet and had raised a couple of cbets (very small sample i know)

3 bet is far too small, you're OOP and deep.

Why would he raise this much with sets?

Agreed it would have been a large raise with a set.. Certainly thought that Ax / high card flush draw would be much more likely

Combo draw could do this, 76hh or 65hh... good equity and doesn't mind a stackoff + he could call a 3bet with this IP.

3-bet a little larger pre-flop. Is there some question beyond pre-flop though?

Wow . Preflop make it like 4, 4.5 times his raise.
Postflop is kinda scarry. A lot of combos. Sets, flush draws, streight draws and the stacks are deep enough to call IP with almost anything decent. If he is not a complete idiot he is never reraising you with an worse Ace here. I think it is a fold. If we call this we have to call the turn. I do not think he well not shove the turn for the rest of his stack.
