re: Poker & $10 NLHE 6-max: Top set after a river re-raise
I bet the flop most of the time. The problem is the AQd...or, even some random shit hand like 45 that someone wants to get cute with. You have to make the draws pay an amount that stings...but, lets them just barely call.
However, I can see the slow play here..., and i think arguments can be made for it. Anyway, the turn bet sizing is low...$1 into a $2.45 isnt great here. I think $2 minimum.
Here is a thought...anyone chime in, what about considering a totally weird bet size here...just a really odd min bet in order to induce the bluff...??? If you bet out say .30 cents, maybe he comes over the top for say $3 or more??....i dont know, you have to think the villain is the type who will make that play.
Anyway, as played...I think he has two pair/underset/other assorted nonsense way more often than he has AQ, i shove, maybe fist pump a little.
