You're short stacked, get all in on the flop. Fist-pump, next hand.

No idea why you slowplayed an overpair, on a wet flop that your getting action on.

You played this so passively its unreal, drop stakes instead of playing a v.bad shortstack game with an awkward size shortstack imo

Lol, its been converted, just into plain text.

Hmmm, didn't notice because I really didn't read it. I like colours tho so I stand by my original decision.

your hand history sucks, and I'm not talking about converting it.

First off, your thread title pretty much gives away the fact that you ran into a small set; i.e. you are posting results. That's bad.

Second, you didn't include any relevant reads or stats on opponent. You didn't give any description of game flow or meta going on or how you had been playing.

You didn't even attempt to put your opponent on a range.

While I'm not the exactly an expert there are 2 possible actions I see taking after his check on the flop. You either shove as has been said or you do a pot size bet.

With you betting less than half the pot, you've given him the incentive to do one call to see the turn card. Basically you made it cheap enough for him to call.

Since you were short stacked, you should have shoved preflop or raised and been aggressive. By just calling, you were giving outs and not getting any information

TBH in these weak passive games, when the SB min raises, he probably has a set. On that board overcards are normaly 3bet preflop (although QQ is just as likely when people are hyper passive preflop)

A lot of people tend to play draws extremely passively at these stakes so you cant just start making a range of sets, and FDs.. its more likley he raises the sets and calls the FDs

But for $4 in a $10 game.. who cares? I wouldn't fold even if he showed me a set.

What could be easier.. they raise your bet, you fold pretty much everything. They call your bet, you keep betting.
