Yeah, good disciplined fold. He really doesn't v bet with worse.

fold. The absolute worst hand i can see them have is AQ, which is a split pot.

with the preflop play, I would expect him to have AA-JJ or AK diamond. you are toast against all of these.

If you really think this is his preflop range you should be folding to the 3bet.

BTW I if I called preflop (likely) I would also be calling that turn bet planning to fold the river to bad cards and / or a big bet.
