10NL 6-max zoom on pokerstars. Both villains are unknown.

BTN: $5.53
SB: $11.35
BB: $16.67
UTG: $10.81
MP: $7.14
Hero (CO): $11.87

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is CO with Q:club: J:spade:
1 fold, MP calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.50, 1 fold, SB calls $0.45, BB calls $0.40, 1 fold

Flop: ($1.60) K:heart: T:club: 5:diamond: (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $1, SB raises to $2, BB raises to $8.53, Hero raises to $11.37 all in

What do you think about the way hero played here? I wasn't sure if I had the correct odds to stack off or not. My assumption was that I needed roughly 2:1 odds to make this breakeven and that the SB and BB were both going to stack off with me, which would give me the 2:1 that I needed (plus the money already in the pot). Was this play +EV?

It's fine, especially with all the extra money in the pot.

Your fold equity vs BB is 0 and the only reason to try something like this is to get folds, or to get the SB to come along as well, which he may not do to your shove but could have done to a flat.
The way this played there's a more-than-good chance that one of them has a set. That further lowers our equity. I'm not so sure this is all that profitable. But there is a lot of dead money in it.

Anyone care to try the math? Looks like a difficult spot.

Which makes me think it's not going to be super-profitable, but definitely high-variance. Just fold to the 4-bet. Get out cheap.

If I did the math right, assuming that both SB and BB call your shove you need 32% and you've got about 34%.... I'm tired though so my maths are most likely wrong. Even still, that's a big "if" we expect both SB and BB to call. I would be more comfortable if we had a back door flush draw here as well at least. As Tim said even if it is profitable, it's very high variance.

I had some killer Thai food last night but the spices 😩
