Full Tilt, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, Rush, 6 Players

Hero (MP): $17.84 (178.4 bb)
CO: $13.19 (131.9 bb) 27/25/20 66h

UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.30, CO raises to $0.90, 2 folds, BB calls $0.80, Hero calls $0.60

Flop: ($2.75) 9

BB checks, Hero checks, CO bets $2, BB folds, Hero raises to $5, CO calls $3

Turn: ($12.75) A

(2 players)
Hero bets $8.75, CO folds

Given 2 shorties this shouldn't be an open i guess...Once he 3bets my MP open this is a snap fold? And i even shouldn't think about using our stack sizes here? + im OOP

Also flop play is quite bad i guess? Nothing better folds here, i just bloat up the pot?

Turn?

Flat is eh OOP but I don't mind with the odds we're getting from BB.

I'm on board with flop raise as 9s can be in our range and obviously the flop did smash us. When CO calls, I feel like his range is heavily weighted towards draws and overpairs, so A is an extremely easy card to barrel (honestly we are barreling almost every turn).

This hand is much less about the stats of the other player, the flop pretty much set you out to play only one way

It is too marginal preflop IMO. Postflop it is fine IMO given CO's stats.
BTW. You should quit a table like this. You are batteling over some shortstakers with a LAG reg right on you left.

Lol I didn't saw it:). You should put that in the description. Zoom is a little different animal than standard NL. I mean I played a little zoom and I think you should be a little tighter than at normal NL.

Yea, seems so. Having some problems with tightness here and there. Usually im trying to find a reason for opening wider in early positions. Its not like an insta open.

Honestly I like as played except for the fact you did not consider the two shorts ppl.
In a std deep stack scenario I the open is alright.

did you have a plan for the c/r ?? Would you have called a shove??

I think this is played as good as you could have played it. Just a thought as its always good to think about all options. What do you think about check shoving turn? Do you think he's likely to bet turn given your flop check raise with non ace hands? He might bet with flush or straight draws as an ace is about as good a card to semi bluff as you can get. Id like to hear your guys thoughts on that, I personally would play the same way as you though.

Good question. I guess yes, because of the money i have put in already. However Qh, Kh, Ah might not be a clean outs.

How would you answer to your question? :)

Do you expect him to bet QQ, KK on ace? I doubt.

From a loose player though I think we can assume he is 3betting and then calling more than just overpairs. Also I think that some of the time he is reraising our flop raise trying to get it in with overpairs because the board is so wet and we look like we have a strong draw. I think he is pealing with a lot of his own draws here, but even if thats right would he bet them on turn? Thats just my opinion, as I said I think just donking turn as you did is the better play.

yes I would.
He looks to me clear call with 2 OC + FD. Just i little bit scared by the paired board.
But I am not a CG crusher ;)
