Hand sample: 84 Stats: 37/30/2.4

3 bet %22.2 over 36 hands.

By the river I put him on a pair between 10/10, K/K. Should I have tried to represent the ace at all here as it does look like a weird line to take. Also what bet size on river would be best? I think I should have made the flop bet size and river slightly smaller.

Really? even though I 4 bet him pre-flop and cbet that board he can still continue with high cards? hmm. Also once I bet turn again stack size relative to pot ratio is gonna make me committed. I thought that he could have been pot controlling with his check back. Also when we check, we check first so we don't know that he is going to check back.

AQ/AK/AJ make up a decent chunk of his range, 1010/JJ are there too but i still think they auto bet when checked to.

whats your range when you check turn?

Noob question: Shouldn't we take into account his stack? I mean I can totally see him calling off the flop with A,K/Q/J and maybe even KQ and possibly waiting to bully you on the river if you were to check to him.

A/K, Q/Q (unlikely), J/J, 10/10

Not enough history with villain though for him to assign specific ranges to me though I don't think.

I would have thought that all of his high cards would just fold as when I cbet the stacks become = to the pot size and the chances of me folding is getting lower on each street unless I am bluffing (which I am). As he can't really bully me on river, I either have high cards or I have the overpair (which looks likely as I do 4 bet and cbet the flop).

Indeed, that's why I really think I should have just left the table and only join when I have position on him as it would have been 100000% easier to play this hand with position :).
