I would just flat call. I think from his POV it would be quite likely that you had trip jacks on that board and a raise on the river after you betting two streets looks like a a full house or AJ. This is my first shot at the hand analysis so don't shoot me down if I'm way off lol :)

Fold preflop!

Unless you are calling and then playing back at UTG openers postflop, just fold.

This hand really demonstrates the power of position.

You have TPGK on the flop and Trips on the turn yet its almost impossible for you to get stacks in and still be ahead of villians range.

You need to be check raising an donk leading and shoving and all that agro stuff..

But against a standard UTG opening range, thats often suicide. So when you get a big hand your problem is getting stacks in without looking way more agro than normal.

All hands devalue OOP, or another way of looking at it is that its much harder to get value OOP.

MW pots are fine to call with a hand like this OOP, but HU.. you just never get value.

I don't know enough about 6max hand ranges to know how well KJs plays OOP but I do know that you're not getting any real value by doing anything other than calling the river raise. I assume both AJ and QJ are in his UTG opening range so they cancel each other but I would have expected him to cbet both of those hands so all Jx hands are unlikely. I would also assume that overpairs would cbet the flop and even if they didn't I doubt they call a river 3bet on a paired board. So that leaves bluffs and sets in his range on the river. Since bluffs don't call and sets beat us 3betting the river is a bad idea. Call the small river raise and thank him for the extra $1.10 from his TT imo.

Well, I am definitely going to be playing back some of the time postflop but it is important to note that we are 4-handed here so it is a CO raise. Maybe the call is bad, I don't like folding KJs 4-handed at all and while I definitely 3-bet a lot of the time I had been pretty aggro preflop if I remember correct.

In regards to the river decision I actually think I might have been being a bit results orientated here, you guys seem right in saying it is a bit of a standard flat even at 10nl.

Well if its a CO range, 3bet it!

Id def call in position, but do you really want to play king high OOP without the betting lead?
