With top pair on fairly dry board, is leading best line when OOP. I'm not sure how to play this hand very well and what the optimal line would be.

Here is the hand. Villian was pretty nitty and passive.

BTN ($2.81)
SB ($4.55)
BB ($3.66)
HERO ($5.82)
HJ ($1.08)
CO ($3.75)

Dealt to Hero Ad 7h

HERO Raises To $0.15 (Rem. Stack: 5.67), HJ Calls $0.15 (Rem. Stack: 0.93), CO Folds, BTN Folds, SB Calls $0.13 (Rem. Stack: 4.40), BB Calls $0.1 (Rem. Stack: 3.51)

Flop ($0.60) 2h Jc Ah

Turn ($2.46) 2h Jc Ah Kh

River ($2.46) 2h Jc Ah Kh Ts

HJ shows Qd Kc

HJ wins $2.34

Let me know what you guys think and if I should change my OOP bets with top pair on similar boards. Also is calling the right play in this situation when he check raises on the flop? Would love to hear feedback! :)

I would just throw A7o preflop from an early position ...

On the flop you have a weak ace and 3 opponents! Call from which hands do you expect to see there?

Fold pre flop A7os is a poor hand for opening utg.
As played it would normally be ok to fold to the check raise all in but if you know that this villain will shove draws then calling it off is ok. Normally when passive nits put money in you can safely fold mid strength hands like this.
Re the lead out its ok but with a weak top pair you don't really want to be bloating the pot so checking oop here would be my preferred line to gather some information from the other players before I decided what to do.
So he shoved a gutshot and got there....pretty terrible ...just another bad beat sonny.

Early position A7 offsuit is fold preflop for sure.
Post flop you played well, the allin doesn't involve too much big blinds, you have to call with top pair...

Fold pre and check flop. Its a multiway flop and we have TPBK. You can't fold river because you were all in obviously and stacking off with top pair vs someone that started the hand with 10bbs can't be too bad.

Fold pre-flop, and fold the flop. I think you want to bet this if you have some passive opponents on the flop, but once you're raised you can fold here. You'll rarely see draws.
