I think I should have bet smaller, and folded to a shove on the turn, what does everyone else think?

You are talking like someone that lost the hand. To be honest that flop is spooky to me if the villain was taggish or nitish. But with those villain stats I think I'd call the shove anytime.

I could expect a shove from a tighter player holding AK QQ, but from a looser player... i'd just call.

Villain check/calls flop, then check/raises all in on a bricked turn.
I find it hard to put him on a single Q at this point, so I fold turn as played.

I don't know if this line is going to be popular, but I would check back on this flop to induce a bluff. Call turn, probably fold if he barrels the river.
If he checks turn, I'll lead.

I dont mind that line Bigthing, i also dont mind betting out and getting Q's to call either, but i dont think it matters how loose this player is, they still get the same hands and his raise here just looks to me like it has to be the K so im folding. I'd only be able to call here if i had a read that villain is capable of bluffing in spots like this where hero has been aggressive through the whole hand, i mean big pf raise, flop bet and turn bet...

Dont know if im right about the bet sizing or not, but personally when i have a hand like this against a fish im betting like 80-90% of the pot here to get as much money as i can in when i think im ahead. So i dont think you should of bet smaller

I think I should be able to get it in on the river anyway. If the fish just calls on the turn to a smaller bet, I'm still able to make a less than pot sized shove on the river to get the money in.

Bet bigger on the flop, bet no larger on the turn and fold to the shove.

Villian is never bluffing on a KKQ board

The flop is a clear value bet.

The turn is still a value bet as now villain may have picked up a FD or still be bad enough to call with a PP (hence the smaller sized bet)

When villian shoves its 99% of the time for value here.

Villians preflop 3bet calling range will include a lot of kings and aces so him hitting a king is quite reasonable.

Nice hand.

If you fold bullets in a 3-bet pot to a 40% VPIP 'tard, you're gonna be losing money long term.

Or value-spazz themselves with AQ cuz they don't wanna be weak!

Trips are hard to make. In 3-bet pots against fish, pay off trips.

Stu's advice is generally pretty solid, but folding in big pots because you're afraid of a rare holding is a bad idea.

Never fold AA in 3 bet pots. If this hand was not a 3 bot pot then a fold is clear. Ofcourse in this particular hand it look like you were beat - I bet that idiot had K5 or someting like that. Gotta pay him off in that situation.

I've seen this play a lot on paired boards and even fish are rarely bluffing here. I think you are costing yourself a lot money refusing to fold AA in a 3bet pot. You can't play aces like they are invincible.
