Okay, unless he folds to a ton of 3bets pre I am 3betting

Flop: He bets so small that your 4x raise really isn't that much and not quite pot, so I raise more.

Turn: I really want to get it in here vs this type of player, but in order to do that you need to bet more each street.

As played, with a 3.6 AGG I guess he can do this with worse. I call, but I'm not fistpumping fwiw.

If we had made it $1.20 pre, and raised to pot (that would be like $2.40 if we raise pre) on the flop, it would make a shove over his $2.30 bet on the turn much easier that as played fwiw

Yea I was thinking of shoving the turn. I really put my villian in flush draw/straight draw. I think I play this hand worst than ever.

3 bet PF, bet a lot more on the flop and jam the turn.

Is every one here squesing AQ against a UTG raiser in these spots?
I know beeing OOP sucks but i kinda prefer flatting and keeping in AJ/AT/small PPs/KQ ect instead of playing against a AK+,TT+ range.
And yeah sure villain is a fish but OP didnt include any stuff about his 3bet fold/calling stats/read and he is only opening 16% of hands witch is tight for a fish.
Dno i just think we can easily outplay villain postflop even if where OOP and i prefer trying to do that against weak range i actualy do well against.

Any one else have thoughts about if we should flat or 3bet here?

I play it the same way except i make the flop $1.80 and push all-in on the turn.

Edit: Actualy if the original raiser has shown a tendency to raise donk bets i might flat the flop bet hoping he raises and then come back over the top.
There by trapping in some dead money in the pot.
But i would only do that if i have seen him raise donk bets a few times.

I dont see a flush here, to call PF raise coulda been A rag or lo pr, J10 hearts a distant possibility. I think AK woulda reraised PF. Soo.. u r either behind to a set, or he cot a baby for 2 pr and feels strong.

I call (ouch?)

I like flatting here sometimes and squeezing sometimes. I don't like playing oop, but AQs has a tremendous amount of postflop value, and I don't mind seeing the flop multiway. I'm more likely to squeeze against an utg open rather than an mp/lp open though, more worried about reverse implied odds if an A hits the flop.

Several of the small/mid-stakes guys have commented on playing hands with strong postflop value in the blinds, maybe they'll comment here. :D

I agree w everyone, increase flop raise to at least $1.50 - $1.80 and jam the turn. I'm pretty happy about getting it in, lots of draws, Ax, and Kx hands are in his range, and I'm having a hard time crediting him w a flopped set or AK given his flat pf (though I wouldn't be surprised by JT). A rivered flush sucks, but it means we got our money in good on the turn.
