This is very tricky. I mean, a good majority of the time it could be KJKQ hearts given the initial raises then hoping he got there. An overbet like that on the river can also display weakness, although you did not have a read on this. Depending on your BR, I probably call just to see (especially in a live setting) but this is online completely different with no real read. If you laid it down it might not be a mistake but villians range is so small you almost have to take the gamble.

Villain's range here most likely is 99+. Adequate(?) player can't have deuces, fives, sixes or hearts without an ace after 3bet out of position. We fear only nines and queens. And he can play as well with tens, jacks, kings, and a bluff. I think we stand good enough here to call.

Not sure if it makes a massive difference but it wasn't actually an overbet on the River as the Pot was $12.39 before they shoved and I only had $4.20 left.

They actually had Th7h for the Flush.

If we were deeper and I didn't have the Ace of Hearts, how much would you consider calling on the River? 1/2 Pot? 3/4 Pot? Full Pot?

My first instinct was fold (before looking at replies). He played it like a FD. All we have is 1p, and I doubt he does this with less than that. Fold river.

Here's the best poker advice you're going to get in a while.

If it smells like a flush draw, plays like a flush draw, it's a flush draw. :)

But the key clue here is:
What is he c/cing the whole way with on that board, that he is suddenly making a large river bet with? At these levels, it is what it smells like it is 98.765% of the time.

I think you could have stopped the flop ... check turn and check call the river, is a more secure line ... dry bord.

I think it's most likely that he had KJ of hearts.

check turn is bad due to letting all the draws catchup and also lose value from thr hands we have crushed ... a double loss in my book.
