Sure. This is a pretty bad board to bluff, and even if villain is a thinking player who realizes you never have a straight here, you need a more specific read than anything given (that he will jam scary boards with air) to run into a range that doesn't have you crushed here.

I would raise it up a lot more preflop. I would also bet a lot more on the flop. Pot button sounds like a good idea to me. On the turn you might want to think about taking a different line. I mean you know you are up against a maniac right? This is the perfect card for him to bluff raise you on. Not by any means saying that we should check fold here but I would rather check/raise here for instance versus the line that you took so at least I am the one putting him in a bad spot, forcing him to have a hand.

Edit: by the way is this guy actually a maniac? This is heads up, 48/30 is pretty run of the mill, maybe even slightly tight passive if those 138 hands are all from HU play.

At least 3 other people folded preflop, so it's not HU.

No this is 6 max, I just took out everyone elses stats to make it clear since the hand convertor doesnt work.

I just had trouble with this, because Ive seen him do this with tptk and hes been running everyone over. I finally get a hand Vs him and he still pushes me out.

Would definitely 3-bet bigger pre. In general, 3-bet bigger OOP and slightly smaller IP. Also 3-bet bigger vs. loose players and 3-bet smaller vs. tight players (who will either fold a ton so you should be 3-bet bluffing them, or to save money when you have to fold when they ship their goofy strong range).

Should consider check-raising the flop too, IMO.

There is no easy way to play this hand on this turn card. And especially given that it was a bit deep to start the hand. As I mentioned though, I would just try to always be the one pushing the action in poker.

And in this spot I think you kinda gotta ask yourself whether you are playing a big pot here or not. I think his range is plenty wide enough that we are ahead a fair bit and have some redraws anyways. If we are playing a big pot here. I am check/shoving it back in his face. I am not digging my own grave by betting the turn so that the maniac can bluff raise me.

Kinda sucks to check/ship here given the stacks. Maybe check/call even though that line seems pretty meh. Get way more money in earlier in this hand. Makes things a lot easier. 4x at least preflop and pot flop should be standard bet sizings. Then the turn pot size is a lot different.
