What are you talking about?I asked should i have 4bet pre (actually said shove meant 4be)?What about the line i took C\R? What should i do on the turn?

Edit:My bad i left the turn out of the post.It was the 6c

def 4bet/call vs this guy. he's going to be 3betting us on the btn with a wide range and we want to stack off vs him

why not 4bet pre?
With his cbet% somewhat high couldn't i C\R the flop for some more value.Just don't see him calling\ raising a 4bet pre with less than QQ.The thing is what does he call the flop C\R with ?

34/26 with a 3bet of 15% (300 hands) will be getting it in pre wider than QQ+ AK imo. something like JJ+ AQ+. maybe even TT

Your range might be closer to mine for a 5bet shove minus the AQ,1010 maybe. We make him fold out Ax-AJ,22-1010,KQ,KJ,QJ all of those hands he would 3bet with then cbet any flop right?
Edit:Given he's got ~200bb an i have 140bb.I 4bet to $3.50-$4.00 if he shoves we have to consider folding pre flop don't we.

I've seen AQ in these situations quite often. 4betting is profitable but maybe calling 3bet is better. add sc's to his 3bet range as well

it's just how often is he continueing after a flop c/r with worse hands

Yeah that's what is weird about the hand i C\R for value. Then i get confused with his flat call IP.When the turn hits should i have shoved,C\C ?Those are my best options in this spot i believe.
Though the double C\R would have been sexy.

doubt he is agro enough to bet turn with any draw or single pairs. best option is to just shove turn (already said) and hope to get draws worse pairs to call

If you're considering folding to a 5-bet shove, your head's in the wrong place. 4-betting's a perfectly fine line, but as discussed I think it gets a shade too many folds.

Nice hijack. Should probably post this in another thread.... Also, because you left in the "" tag, we know that you bet the turn :p. It kinda gives away the results.

Yeah turn should be about 2\3 of the pot so $1 bet on the turn.I would lean more towards ~4x for the C\R so around `.80 on the flop. His range shouldn't have to many K's in it.KJ,sometimes you will see a tard show up with AK,KQ,of course AQ,KQ or less likely due to your hand.I Think villains calling range here leans more to A2,A3,J9-AJ,67s,66-1010

I prob would too, but not not all the time 80-90% i would 3bet here.At these levels the higher villains VPIP is the higher you can 3bet.They will not catch on to this,~20vpip 4x ~30vpip 5x.

villain steal 40% and ft3b 90% on 250 hands. does that change anything at all about 3betting pre? I always 3bet pre until yesterday after this thread noting to take advantage of people who cbet too much
