Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 30/15/3

Hi all
Tryin tobter my game at the moment so it will probably be an easy one for you but I hate folding overpairs lol.
Just trying to improve my game and not get stacked so easy with overpairs and TPTK type hands. Would you say it is correct to fold here. Seen villian flat PF OOP 3 times before this in this session and c/r the flop. All 3 before this he showed up with a set each time.

Thanks for any input you have for taking me to the next level

How many hands do we have on villain. If that is over a substantial sample I prob just fold.

Sickening spot though.

I agree with the fold there, kinda gross but that's a stupid place to flop squeeze unless you have the nuts.

Would any of you guys ever check the flop here? Playing a hand OOP on a flop that you're either way ahead or way behind IMO. I think checking might help with pot control with two players behind.

Nowhere close to wa/wb. There are plenty of marginal hands in both villain's range that we can get value from. Top pair, pair+draw, gutshot, random floats from overcards and/or backdoor flush draws, ace high...these guys open limped preflop, they're calling with tons of crap.

Thanks all for your time and advice
If I flat here I'm guessing he will shove any turn, so should I be shoving here at 10NL with an overpair? To me I have shown a prem hand squeezing in the worst seat and then 2/3 cbet into 2 players, 1 caller and then him making a raise here oozes strength. Am I being too passive and should be paying off here at 10NL?

Great fold. Most of the time he should be putting you on a strong hand so he's unlikely to be bluffing too much here. The fact he's shown up with sets all 3 occasions this has happened means until you see him do any different you have to assume that this is his "strong hand line".

He has an absolute ton of strong hands in his range here and although it's a great semi-bluffing board for hands like 98, 97, 67 etc, you can't weigh enough of his range toward pure bluffs to counter the equity he has with the made hand and semi-bluff part of his range (especially given the history).
