Hay guys, This whas played in zoom so I got no read on any of the opponents.

poker stars $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 2603135
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BTN: $10.00
SB: $18.47
Hero (BB): $11.24
UTG: $16.76
MP: $6.15
CO: $8.73

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with Q  Q :club:
2 folds, CO raises to $0.30, BTN raises to $0.90, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.80, 1 fold

Flop: ($2.15) 7 :club: 2 :spade: 6 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.36, Hero calls $1.36

Turn: ($4.87) 8 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.32, Hero raises to $8.98 all in, BTN calls $5.42 all in

River: ($20.35) 7 :diamond: (2 players - 2 are all in)

Final Pot: $20.35
BTN shows J :spade: J :club: (two pair, Jacks and Sevens)
Hero shows Q  Q :club: (two pair, Queens and Sevens)
Hero wins $19.43
(Rake: $0.92)

Should I have raised pre? If I did I would have to fold to a 5B right? Do you think the shove were right? I thought that he could have TT + that he would call with and maybe some Ax that he turned into a bluff.

You must ask yourself , if we call preflop what is our plan in the rest of the hand. What are we going to do on an A or K? Probably check/fold
Are we willing to call three streets here on undercards? Only if we think he does not have AA / KK

Given these facts I think it would be better to 4bet or fold here given that we are out of position. And no you are not folding to a 5bet when you 4bet.

4bet not good in that spot, if you did it would have been an easy fold to 5bet
the shove is perfect as you didn't 4bet you keep 99+

I'd rather 4 bet so we don't end up 3 way, worse hands can certainly call.

I don't like shoving the turn, most of the time we just get called off by better hands and some weaker overpairs find folds.

Yes, you should have raised pre in this spot. And folding to a 5-bet in this spot is EXTREMELY exploitable. If you get 5-bet here, you call or shove (depending on whether or not the 5-bet already had you all in) to avoiding playing a big multiway pot out of position.

And I totally disagree with youregoodmate about the turn. There are PLENTY of hands that call a turn shove there with worse than queens.

4betting is what most players would do here which is standard but you played it tricky and it worked out for you. Not saying what you did was wrong, you just took a different line which is fine.

Other slightly different plays would have been to flat pre flop like you did and then leading out the flop and then going on from there.

Similarly another slight variation is flatting pre flop and the flop and then suddenly leading out the turn with a donk bet mostly probably for value. :eating:

Always fun to be tricky every now and then but don't over do it because then we start playing passive ...

4bet pre.

As played, c/r jam turn is real bad. It's super strong and he'll tend to fold out weaker overpairs/call off better overpairs a decent % of the time.

It's one of those cases where you had him crushed preflop or he had you crushed and nothing changed postflop. In villain's place I'd have folded 1010s, and probably had to pay you off with JJ at least half the time.

If he had aces or kings, pretty unavoidable cooler, given that it's 6-handed.

As you are OOP, 4bet is better.
