Just call the flop min-raise imo. I'm expecting this type of villain to have at least 2-pr and to never fold.

186 hands is not a lot, but 4% of the time he 3-bet. Looks a little tight.

What hands does he raise call with lots of aces AK, AQ, AT & A9 are beating you. He also has KQ and KJ in his range. Hero has 8 outs to the straight. maybe add one out for the Ace at best. 1 out of 3 times you make a straight. After he raises your C-bet and you are raise AI there are ~137 BBs in the pot and Villain needs to call 81. All draws and pairs are calling and Hero only has a 1 in 3 chance of winning.

Was it your intention to play for stacks with AJo? But here you are.

Vpip 31, PFR 16 feels like a fish and bet size says he is fish. So there is close to zero fold equity and he is giving you great price just to call.

His mistake is to raise too small, to exploit this mistake the logical line is just to call.

Personally I don’t think your line is a gross mistake, given small raises on the flop are mostly weak, but not best EV.

Given Villains stats I think they like calling with a lot of suited\connected cards so I wouldn't be surprised if they show up with hands like QT KJ 9T etc.

Personally I'd just call the raise and look to play some turns.
