Let's try to get a lesson going here.

Look at the villain's stats. He's a reg. Not crazy. Not a fish.

Merge - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $12.29
SB: $10.00
BB: $10.07 (VPIP: 21.54, PFR: 19.23, 3Bet Preflop: 11.03, hands: 402)
UTG: $9.80
MP: $8.93
Hero (CO): $20.05

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has A A

fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.30, fold, fold, BB calls $0.20

Preflop: Raise/call. Standard. What could he have? Pocket pairs, AJ, AQ, AK, KQ. Maybe some suited connectors?

Flop: ($0.65, 2 players) 7 9 5
BB checks, Hero bets $0.58, BB calls $0.58

Flop: Gin if he has 68. Nothing with overcards. Pair and poor kicker if he has suited connectors. Could have sets. Could call the cbet with any of these.

Turn: ($1.81, 2 players) Q
BB checks, Hero bets $1.35, BB raises to $3.60, Hero calls $2.25

3bet sets off alarm bells. Or at least it should. So I think for a bit and figure it must be a Q in his hand.

River: ($9.01, 2 players)K
BB bets $5.59 and is all-in, Hero calls $5.59

Now what could be in his hand that I beat? AQ wouldn't bet like that with a K on the River, right? KQ has a pretty two pair that I don't beat.

When I grow up, I want to learn to be a poker player!

Oh bummer did they float the flop with Q-Rage because they got there rage on the flop.

Bleh maybe they have Q5 or Q-High card. Possible got a set on the flop or made a set with Queens. But any way I would probably bet more on the flop because I get busted trying to milk AA. But if they did call my 1.50 bet on the flop I would end up all in most likly.

^^ dude, decent 22/19 regs are literally never calling pre with Q-rag hands like Q-5!!

Only hands I can see him flatting pre here are 22-88, AQ, AJ, AT and maybe KQ and the only hands that raise the turn are sets and KQ. Turn should probably be a sigh disciplined fold, river is 100% a fold.

All I can put him on is a slowplayed set. So why dont you push turn if you are willing to call river on any card card that comes. He definately folds KQ oop on the flop to your big flop bet. I know some tricky play may be involved here, but overall I kinda prefer folding turn.

He has a set. K/Q wouldn't raise turn I don't think.

I was just thinking Q-low could be in his range because he is BB and its not that much to defend here. Could be way off.

22/19 players are normally decent, they wont call preflop raises out of position with garbage like Q5. The gap between his VPIP and PFR is pretty small and when he does flat preflop it's going to be to setmine, sometimes with AT-AQ and occasionally with suited connectors but never with garbage.

Fold to the turn bet. There are basically no queens in his hand on the turn.

This is a classic Baluga. Turn should be a fold.

BZ: you're saying that a reg is going to call with Q-rag in the bb because "its not that much to defend?" Calling another 2bbs from a CO open to defend our bb OOP with a weak hand is really bad imo. I actually cant find a positive reason for doing that.

If he does this Im labeling him as a a bad reg and making a note.

Yep it was a bad guess.....

Basically just took a stab at the guessing game part of this.
But I did spread my guess pretty wide.
So I bet there hand is in there some were.
