Q: Improvements?

BB looks like a nit. He insta shoved river.

It seems hand was badly played, but CB is reasonable, OOP turn bet is reasonable; when flush arrives river bet is reasonable, and I can't really fold

I don't think that this be a easy spot, but I can't fold here because to me he has enough hands that we beat.

Regards!

Thx, yeah I did not fold.

The thing is that OTT I had 67.6bb pot with 25% equity at best and possible dirty outs against nit. That can’t be right, but maybe that was meant to be this time.

You're only getting 3.5 to 1 on the river. You can still fold.

This, to me, is always 44, 77, QQ. I can't see villain flatting KKd pre and then instashoving the river with the 9th nuts.

On the time of the hand I gave him only QQ that would insta shove, but given 4 for color he might have gotten overly happy about me getting there for sure.

Ok so I assume flop, turn were ok, and folding river might be better play.

He had 88 without diamonds, had he waited 2 seconds before river shove I would have folded.

I don't think that's something a nit would do

Yes probably a tag with very bad luck with opening hands. This hand is total opposite copy of my play from couple of weeks ago, also that time villain called and I lost with premium pair when I decided I don't have showdown value. Also then villain called A-high flush on paired board. I marked him light caller, I guess this villain marked me the same. I was hoping timing tell would free me ;)

Interesting hand, I still thought he had you beat him being a nit. I would bet/fold the river normally.

Note to myself, instashove the nuts ;)

Btw, I can see myself folding those 8s on the turn with this board in a multiway pot, too tight?
