My hand doesn't work for value or as a bluff here I don't feel. At the time I felt like he could fire turn with worse and that's why I called. Thinking back though I think I'm beat by pretty much everything he bets here. The concern I have with barreling turn is that I can't fold out any 2P that he has although given his line 2P here is unlikely. I also can't get value from anything worse. If I could go back I'd X/F. Saying that seems absurd with overpair + nut flush draw however I can't see an alternative line that works as well.

Quick edit. Villain is 14/10 over 40 hands.

I like how you played it, you don't have enough equity vs his range on turn to 2barrel and since you're getting 4:1 you can call with some implied odds whe you hit FD. Turn is basically the worst possible card.

Gj not betting the turn. Super close between a check/call or check/fold even with the odds he's laying as I don't think we're ever ahead and have very little in the way of implied odds as a set or straight will just never pay us off when we donk the river on a 4flush board and nor would they bet. Flushes are only about 2-3 combos of his range and the Qh isn't a proper out. In game I check call with time to think I check fold.

Bet more OTF. I'm devastated OTT and probably check/folding.

There's a pretty common theme of not betting enough OTF in your posts FYI.

Check/fold the turn, but with that weak beat, I'd call if my opponent was looser or not very good. Looks like this guy may be a nit so I might fold. Otherwise there's a decent chance they'd usually pay off vs their straight or Kh if you hit.

That's probably because people commonly don't bet enough OTF.
I mainly take this stance when
- hero is the preflop aggressor;
- there is more than one caller;
- hero has a made hand;
- the board is wet and hero doesn't have a particularly good draw.

At higher stakes this will work less often but at 10 NL people play fit-or-fold and are rarely capable of floating a c-bet with air.
I bet these flops hard to deny draws the correct odds to call while knowing they will call anyway. We should also factor in some implied odds for them, unless we're going to shut down completely every time a FD/SD gets there.

I agree. As a standard I overbet made hands in drawy flops to like 1.5x or something.
