Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 79/50/1

See Villain's stats. He plays too many hands and calls too often but he's has a huge stack after having a very lucky few hundred hands that I saw.

I understand the way to take advantage of these players is to loosen up pre-flop here I loosened to playing to suited high card/xs and suited connectors. They still have good equity post flop.

However in this hand I landed QQ pre-flop and my eyes lit up. Now against aggressive guys who will take mid/low pairs to showdown I need to make big calls. I try to make these hands easier to get out of if beat by betting for thin value so they have chance to raise and I can rethink my hand.

Any advice on how to make these big calls more efficiently and take advantage of the call machines? I've been stacked tonight betting top pair against this player when he landed 2 pair, 33s and 88s.

I like your line, river is an easy fold. Looks like 78/88/K8/38s/28s from here.

Just because someone is a calling station does not mean we should make big calls especially when it involves a large river raise. Calling stations can make big hands too.

I think you should bet the flop, as you'll get value from 7x, 88-JJ, XsXs, maybe even 3x, 45/56 and have a better idea where you stand by the time it gets to the river.
Def fold to the river raise though. Nh

1. Bet the flop

2. Bet more on turn

3. Fold River
