Initial plan was to check raise Turn if no spade or King appeared, but when they checked I decided to protect against a weaker Ace with a spade or maybe a pair with a spade JJ/TT/99.

Now when they lead river, what am I beating, maybe the hands I was protecting against and KK with Ks and AK. DO you call River ?????????

Mmm... so what hands do you think he's playing this way that beat you? Maybe a flopped flush, and that's about it, but even that is kind of iffy don't you think?

And yes, I bet the turn and call that river all day.

So you think he c/c's AK a large % of the time on the turn after betting that small on the flop? That would seem like really bad poker, but I guess it's possible.

Maybe he was waiting for safe river as well with his AK or flopped set

Anything is possible, but that's not the primary range I'd be assigning him.

I'm with John I'm calling that river. Villain's lead on the river looks suspicious.

If he shows up with 33,QQ,KK,AA, AK or a flush oh well, just seems too narrow even with villain's 3 bet.

i THINK he was trying to catch another spade and missed it so he tried to bluff the river. shouldnt have folded, in these limits people are generally easy to read. shouldve called.

I am not 100% sure . This sudden move to bet so much on the river after checking on the turn is a bit scary , maybe I would have folded , I guess he might have had a made hand .It makes nom sense , maybe flush or full house:)
