CO shows 7s 9s

CO wins $21.38

I was overbetting the flop and turn, for villain to throw away any flush and nutted straight draws and to get max value as he was a whale. Just wanted to know if I got coolered or if checking the river was best play as a backdoor flush got there. I feel ignition favours whales and fishes and optimal plays arent rewarding at all. Let me know thanks! :)

C/fold river and stop posting bad beat hands if you are serious about improving your game

that was great play imo. I would still bet(fold?/call?) river smaller because he might find a fold to small pairs here, both Q and K are scary looking for medium pair. And don't show results.

My bad OP, I read the hand wrong and thought the board ran out with 7's, lol. b/folding or c/calling are both fine on this river. My point about bad beat hands still stands though. Also it seems from the few post you made that you are getting married to hands. Just because you have the 3rd nuts on the flop or AA pre doesn't mean you are guaranteed to win the pot and need to play street by street.

not sure i want to be playing for stacks on the idiot end of a straight in a multiway limped pot.shove on the river folds out all hands you beat and called by hands that beat you , can't really see what hands call that shove that you beat or hands that fold that are beating you .
the betting is virtually saying that you flopped a straight , set is unlikely as you probably would have isolation raised 66 77 88 preflop against those limpers. 5x probably fold to the overbet on the flop .

oh and you don't have the 2nd nuts , theres lots of flush combos , 9T combos all beating you 56.

IMO, you should either bet smaller on turn, b/f on the river or do a donkey all in on turn, only 910 and 59 was beating you on the turn, you can ignore 59o, so there are only 3 combos of 59 and 16 combos 910. Hands that would call you on these stakes - sets, 2p and flush draws with a pair/straight draw. River shove was just stupid though.
