Hand 1
Reads: BB is very loose; and I've seen him overbet shove a few times on fairly innocuous boards.

My image is fairly aggressive; I've been about 28/25.

PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

MP: $21.34
CO: $15.03
BTN: $10.82
SB: $11.56
BB: $11.82
Hero (UTG): $9.92

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has Q♥ Q♦

Hero raises to $0.30, fold, fold, BTN calls $0.30, fold, BB raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $3.00, fold, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($6.35, 2 players) K♦ A♦ 8♦
BB checks, Hero checks

Even though villain is loose, I don't think I can bet for value here, and I don't see the point of turning my hand into a bluff at this point. Thoughts?

Turn: ($6.35, 2 players) 7♥
BB bets $8.82 and is all-in,

Hero ?

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has Q♣ Q♠

fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.30, fold, fold, BB raises to $0.90, Hero calls $0.60

Flop: ($1.85, 2 players) A♥ A♠ K♠
BB bets $0.88

Hero ?

Honest question: Wouldn't a minraise be to $2.70? In any event I get your question.

At $3 theres < a potsize bet with 2 callers, or a little over a potsize bet with one.

Also given BB was a bit of a maniac, I was trying to entice him to 4-bet me light since he might see this as a good spot to "punish" my Lagginess.

as played, fold both.

First hand is wp.

Why didn't you 4bet in the second hand?

I very seldom 4bet when I have position. It keeps my range wider; and.. I have position.

For the first hand:

I thought that this villain would repop me pre with AA,KK,AK 99.9% of the time, so I removed those from his range.

If he has an Ax or Kx, he more likely doesn't have a diamond, so I probably have 9 outs to the nut flush, so if I'm behind, I have some equity (~18%).

I figured he's play 33-JJ this way as well, where I way ahead (~95% equity, except for 88).

He might be slowplaying a flush, but my checking back of the flop also widened his bluffing range considerably.

Taking all this in, does it justify a call?

Spoiler:
I called. He had Td9c

1st hand
your range for him shoving the turn is way too wide without a specific read. calling is ok if you think he has enough bluffs

2nd hand
you should be looking to get it in pre here vs. BB who probably likes his hand if he's TAG

Oops missed that good catch

For the first hand I agree with a check on the flop and fold to the all in turn is the standard play....

Would like to get feedback on the possibility of putting a Semi-bluff on the flop with an All-in or 3/4 pot bet out there (like all in better due to stack size)? If you go all in on the flop we are four to the nut flush and 3 to str8 flush... We are representing top pair good kicker or set, fighting against the flush or str8 draws and if called we still have lots of outs. Would like to hear what people would think about that play.

On the second hand it is a fold IMO. Not a good flop and no way to improve unless hit a 2 outer.

Two tough flops with QQ.

Thanks for the feedback.

I agree that both hands are folds in general. The first hand is interesting though and against that specific villain, as some have poined out, there is a case for a call.

btw I called the first and folded the second. guy had 9sTd so was only semi-bluffing.
