Why so big on the river? What is your logic behind it?

I did put him allin. I think my intention was to go for max value against the calling station. Expecting him to call with hands like TJ and T9. But I also think, that this was probably too thin in the long run. If the river was a low card, I would play it this way every single time against this kind of player.

i like your thinking but wrong villain and board didnt run out to good for us either

remember passive dont mean weak. means he will call us when beat and wont bet unless he has the top very top of his range.. we are at the bottom of our range and we can exploit these players by manipulating the pots and lose small and win big... this hand ur losing big and playing his game

I don't think that's right. Passive pre doesn't tells us anything about postflop. But at these limits most of the passive players pre are calling stations post. Weaker tens are absolutely in his range and willing to call down imo. The problem is, that QT, flush and even a badly played AQ got there.

I love a thin value bet and, yes I think this spot is fine to bet for fairly thin value. Your sizing is the problem though. You blow all hands you beat out of the hand and get called by better.

KT from the blinds sucks, obviously defend weird 2BB BTN bet, but basically pot control any flop that is not at least 2 pair. Instead you decide to donk out basically saying to V that you have TP. At no point in this hand do you know where you are at. First two barrels are justifiable, but then the river when the board completes a flush draw and wipes away any equity you had. Q hits his range massive. As played only thing to do different is to c/f river. Unfortunate river card, but statistically an over card was bound to happen. I am guessing he had an over pair all along, but wasn't going to fold to your river bet because he knew you were repping the T all along.
