$10 NLHE 6-max: ITT money scared fish tried to set money on fire but is saved by God

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 15/9/2.5

Had this guy marked down as a nit, played 220 hands over some tables. A notable hand was where he flatted with AJs and called down with top pair and a flush draw to showndown. That made me change his note from "TAG" to "nit".
Anyway I was angry with myself for this hand as I was so scared (can you tell from the min 3bet on the flop, lol). My lead after 3betting flop was so strong on the turn but I didn't want him to peel off and maybe bluff me off the river if a scare card hit (like a 9 or diamond).
We had a weird dynamic, he knew i was aggressive so I think his range is polarized to overpairs or air (i've seen him players draws passively).

Hero bets €8.80, 1 fold

Total pot: €12.55 | Rake: €0.62

Anyway enough banging on, my question is what to do if hypothetically villian jams flop. I think i'm toast (easy fold?). Also is my turn bet far too large?

Three-betting the flop is pretty much horrible. I'd bet something tilt-inducing on the turn like 6.66 or $1.

Whats the line then? Flatting? Pretty much every card that comes is shit for me and if I i'm behind a good portion of his flop ranging range (sets/overpairs) there's little point in continueing?

You wont get him to fold sets / overpairs / FDs by 3betting and you think you are behind if you flat...... fold
