Had to bet this flop since it is draw heavy. But with the set on hand will it be ok to check first?

Both options, c-betting and checking the flop are good lines. For this particular case, when we do 3-bet preflop we have all the QQ, KK, AA, AK and AQ on our range and Villain has none (if Villain had these hands it would be more 4-betting instead of flatting).
The size utilized for the c-bet flop was also fine because we are blocking quite a great deal of holdings. Our hope when c-betting the flop is to get calls from FDs, SDs, Ax and Kx, because AK, AA, KK villain has none and AQ we are blocking a lot of it so...

Iff u had the Set off AA i will tell you that checking will be ok(but very risky) because u are bloquing possivel call(top pair and doubles) but u have the 3 set u have to bet ther and bet big,for 2 main reasons
1- Is a very weet board so you wanth to get value now before the action ends, iff in the turn lands a heart, a J or a T u wonth like to bet and vilain will be falding anithing but the nuts. So bet near pot there to get max value fom top pair and
2- For protection, there are a lot off Tpair and GS mid pair and OESD FD and u dont wanth to give them a good price to hit theire draws.
Never slowplay in thouse so weed boards.

Vilain is UTG, no one 4bet AQ in UTg(but we are bloking them) and a lot off players only call with AK in this stake i told you by my personal experiense,so he has a lot off Tpair and doubles in that flop plus Tpair and GS or OESD.
