partypoker - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 129.8 BB (VPIP: 31.28, PFR: 17.28, 3Bet Preflop: 7.02, hands: 415)
Hero (BB): 117.9 BB
UTG: 182.6 BB (VPIP: 32.43, PFR: 20.27, 3Bet Preflop: 6.47, Hands: 524)
MP: 95 BB (VPIP: 42.47, PFR: 13.33, 3Bet Preflop: 6.04, Hands: 415)
CO: 100 BB (VPIP: 33.27, PFR: 15.11, 3Bet Preflop: 4.85, Hands: 531)
BTN: 314 BB (VPIP: 24.94, PFR: 12.16, 3Bet Preflop: 4.84, Hands: 444)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A K

UTG raises to 3.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, SB calls 3 BB, Hero calls 2.5 BB
The 3.5 threw me a bit, this guy was doing 2.5 raises before this so indicated strength, hence the call.

Flop: (10.5 BB, 3 players) T J T
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checksDidn't see a reason to bet, thought we were either smashed or ahead.

Turn: (10.5 BB, 3 players) 4
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks
Same reasoning.

River: (10.5 BB, 3 players) K
SB bets 19.5 BB, foldHow do people feel about the fold?

Good fold imo I would have done the same, he either flopped trips or rivered a straight

I would consider a 4 bet pre

You have a hand that you can 4 bet with. It should get some of the weaker hands in the blinds to fold (Q10, etc). It also gives you the option of Cbetting the flop. Other than that, you played this fine.

Yeah, I would raise pre flop here. You have blockers to AA and KK, really good spot to squeeze. As played, fold on river is good. Think you were chopping at best.

It would be easier to evaluate villain strenght on the flop by 3betting pre flop.

3bet flop and really take initiative.

We dont wan people having positional advantage for cheap.

Ak also plays better headsup and ita strength really is preflop

You need to have bluffs that work to make it profitable in this spot

Nearly, I was actually being trapped by two monsters:

partypoker - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

River: (10.5 BB, 3 players) K:diamond:
SB bets 19.5 BB, fold, UTG raises to 68.5 BB, SB raises to 126.3 BB and is all-in, UTG calls 57.8 BB

[spoil]UTG shows J:heart: J:club: (Full House, Jacks full of Tens)
(Pre 81%, Flop 5%, Turn 2%)
SB shows T:heart: T:diamond: (Four of a Kind, Tens)
(Pre 19%, Flop 95%, Turn 98%)
SB wins 253.1 BB
[/spoil]
