Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 21/17/7.2

Hi all
Stats are from 621 hands with villan. Since the player isn't an obvious fish should I of played this hand differently. I know I over bet the turn but I thought he would have plenty of pp's in his range and a A K Q J may scare him off from calling any more and he isn't going to have quads that much, but I would of shipped the rest anyway on the river.

Thanks for all the advice I get. :)

I would bet less on the flop to get calls from lower pocket pairs or maybe three's. Don't want him to find a fold. On the turn I wouldn't ever over bet here, it looks so strong and like an over pair, I would just make it $3 so that we can shove the river as he would be pot committed if he calls the turn.

Yeah normally I would bet 50% pot or 65% if it has str8/FD potential. I will do that in furure thanks. Like I said I'm not to bothered results wise with this hand cos with QQ on ths board I think I am always stacking off. Wheres the ace when you need it lol.
Thanks again. I will size my bets better in future to encourage lower pp's to stick around. I was thinking along of the lines that allot of turn/river cards can come that will stop him continuing so I was trying to get max value out of med pp's before the scare card arrived

Once that nice (or bad because of what he had :p) turn card comes up it doesn't matter the river card at all, he is pot committed and has to call and if he finds a fold on the river then he probably made a mistake by calling with a weak hand on the turn. Either outcome is $$ for us. If he donk shoves any river, we call. But ye, if you put him on a medium pocket pair then your flop bet is completely fine.

nah, you did well stacking off, but I do think you should have cbet less on flop so you get more calls with weaker over pairs and overcards. they way you played it it screams big overpair and you might fold out hand like JJ TT (( that might even call you 3 streets or at least 2.

he got lucky and flopped quads, happens. your biggest worry this hand is actually those value bets, which again, are too big.
