vs unknown i would bet less on both flop and turn more like 2/3 pot to make it easier for him to call with his medium pairs. when he checkraises the turn it looks v strong unlikely to be a bluff. i mean seriously what else would he raise with besides a full house, quads or 5x? when you double barrel your range looks very strong at least Qx so it would be a terrible spot to bluff and hands like QK won't be raising very often. you are way behind so just fold, but you might want to take a note that this player will call OOP with a suited ace since most players will 3bet or fold

Bet less on the flop and turn so that you can easily fold here.

After betting the turn there is no point even considering making a fold here so we had to get the chips in after getting raised by villain.

But there is a strong case to check back the turn since our c-bet was a full pot bet which got called by the villain. You should have known the risks of double barreling here after the board paired on the turn as villain is unlikely to call a pot bet unless he caught a piece of the flop. So that turn bet was a mis-step.
