I was pretty sure I was ahead here but I've started seeing monsters under the bed again after running bad for the last couple of sessions.

Do I re-raise here? Do I jam? Do I just call and reassess the turn?

I'm strongly leaning towards a jam every time I look at it or at least a strong re-raise... But like I said, mind was showing a blank at the time and I'm still not 100%.

I prefer calling the re-raise. Now the thing too that would be going on in my mind is the fact we are against villains BB range, do you have stats on this person?

If villain has decent stats I'm thinking; he sees my utg open, so he either believes, i'm getting out of line, or he can try to look like he's merging in the BB (with what, like A7, 87, 76?), he has some random PP, he may also be stabbing with air as a re-raise looks so strong, but would villain really have trips and play it so open faced like this?

So yes I would call, then rethink the turn depending on villains actions.

Some info on villlian would help a lot here.

However, intial thoughts - just call. If we jam, he only calls hands that beat us; 44/7x etc.

Maybe he calls of worse pairs like 88-JJ because at 10nl for example, if they flat with these hands pre flop and see dry boards, they just think they have the nuts and wanna stack before any over cards come on the turn/river. However reads on villian would help a lot here. If he's like a loose complete tard guy or whatever, I'd be happy playing for stacks on the flop - if he's quite a nitty/tag sort..I'd deffo only flat the flop because its a very dry board and theres not much to rep and if he's showing aggression it would usually mean like 44/7x.

I didn't realise there were stats missing. For some reason HEM won't copy the hand with stats after four+ attempts.

Villain is a 30/25 over 88 hands. Not really enough hands for any other stats to have properly converged. Fold to Cbet is 0% and raise Cbet is 50% over two hands so can't go off that.

I'm calling and calling any non A turns and rivers. This guy doesn't seem loose enough to have 7x here so he reps a measly 4combos of 77/44.

Sure there are times we will run in to an unexpcted 67s but bad regs love to checkraise paired boards as they don't think about what they're repping. Call down and let him bluff, if you see a showdown make a note for next time on what he had and how many barrels he fired.

I think this is a stack off easy, especially vs 30/25. they love to raise these spots.

you could also give him some rope, you have position, you could call the bet here and almost always he will bet turn and you will reraise all in position and with this you hide the strength of your hand.

his raise here makes no sense, if he has a 7 or 22 which he is repping why not call and give you the chance to barrel at least once more. I am pretty sure he has a smaller pair here, 88 to TT or 2 overs, maybe A2. If he really did hit here and plays it this way I am not getting away.
