Hi guys

Sorry for the lack of HUD stats, but this is not my hand (will provide link to where I found it- there were no replies on the forum). Have been in several of these situations, as I'm sure we all have, but I'm just curious to know the perception on if this is a fold 100% of the time.

We are facing a 3bet from a semi/reg, from SB. Who cbets 2/3 pot, and check shoves the turn.
Question – Its always the nuts right ? and we fold 100% of time right ?
Hero (BTN): 123.8 BB
SB: 127.7 BB
BB: 160 BB
UTG: 139.3 BB
CO: 109.4 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Ad Qc

fold, CO raises to 3 BB, Hero calls 3 BB, SB raises to 14 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 11 BB

Flop: (32 BB, 2 players) Ah 2d Ks
SB bets 20 BB, Hero calls 20 BB

Turn: (72 BB, 2 players) Js
SB checks, Hero bets 36 BB, SB raises to 93.7 BB and is all-in, fold

SB wins 136.8 BB

I think it's a good choice, fold is ok in this situation, he was very aggressive on pre-flop, he likely have JJ, KK, AA or AK

Hi. Unless I had some specific history on the villain I would absolutely fold. Most every big pre-flop hand got there, its not impossible for the check-raise all in to be a bluff, but imo it's way way more likely to be legit.

+1

I going to install a script that auto folds when facing a large bet =)

The way its played, I would fold. But you would be better off checking the turn because you don't really beat a lot of hands. Hands that don't beat you are folding. So betting doesn't accomplish much imo.
