I was autopiloting and that is why my dumb ass went for the triple. I know that I shouldn't have and won't do it again. Just wondering though do we agree that this is a board to C-bet + double barrel profitably?

not vs a complete unknown, if we knew he was a winning reg, then 3barreling here should be fine. We can represent a flush, str8, basically 2P+.

Yeah I know the triple was bad. Just curious as to whether we should double here?

yeah I'd definitely 2barrel here, the FD is giving us great equity and an ace might be an out as well. He should be folding PPs, or everything apart from TP+.

You have position here and as villian is unk, I would be trying to control the pot size.
But I'm a 5NL nit on Carbon, what do I know... :p

Double barrel is fine against an unknown. You have enough total equity (pot equity + fold equity) to fire again and stand a pretty good chance of winning this one way or another.

Yes, always double here, but slightly larger.

I think double barrel is good here, but didn't like the bet on the river (specially against an unknown). If he called you on both streets in that board off position, he'll probably call you again on the river.
