Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 64/5/1

Is the river overshove correct here?
Not many combo's beat us and shoving for max value..

If I bet 2.50 and get raised I am never folding so figured it would be best to shove.

I think so sometimes you can lose in poker with monsters just look at the guy who lost with four aces to a royal flush at the wsop .

Just gonna throw it out there that I don't think this move will work most of the time against a good player, and every now and then he shows u K-10. A shove at lower limits almost always means a monster.

Yes, u would likely not fold to a reraise, but he's also not likely to have a monster worth risking all his chips (unless he's that bad). Moral of the story: An overshove should be based on what u think he'll call, not what YOU would call.

EDIT: overlooked his stack size, sorry! Correct play here but moral still applies!

He would have called larger in every street given his stats thus overshove was self induced.

If it's a fish well played. If it's a thinking player you might be in a WA/WB (way ahead or way behind) situation because I don't know how many solid players would stack off on the river without having a full house themselves on the river.
___
*EDIT*

With villain's short stack and stats I want to say it's a fish. Shove away at the river. If you got coolered oh well. Fish can't fold trips or flushes even on paired boards. (A lot of em at least)

Since villain is passive player betting all 3 streets is okay, but not sure shoving is fine here, generally we are going to be called by A-high flushes and others full houses, so as for me betting around 20bbs is okay.

I like this shove a lot. Especially if you have a read that he has called down light or if you've been pushing him around and you think he is getting tired of it. You're playing heads up it is insane to think that he would have a better boat than you here so i like your thought process when you say if you bet 2.50 and he raises youre never folding.
