To be honest at the moment of the hand I did not take into consideration his donk bet stat even though its a small sample (25 1/4).
I am know more inclined towards thinking I should have not folded but just getting it in...

I think its a good fold. I would have him on a set/maybe an over pair here.
However out of the possible overpairs 1010 JJ QQ KK AA odds are you are behind.

His donk lead is almost a good play for a really strong made flopped hand, the board has a few straight draws (although unlikely anyone is on them in a 3bet pot) but the flush draw is scary to a made hand. You dont want to let anyone catch up for free if it checks around as the sb.

His near pot size turn bet looks like hes trying not to let a flush catch up on him and might be scared by more possible straights.

Pay attention to how much he defends his small blinds.

Folding an overpair BvB in a 3 bet pot against a lagtard is pretty bad.

Agreed. Never folding. He's super aggro and could be doing this with A LOT more than just sets/bigger pairs. I'd just try to get it in on the turn since you can't fold any river if you just call the turn, and he could conceivably fold his draws if he whiffs the river.

i think the only hands that have you beat here are sets...qq/kk/aa are unlikely with oppo's preflop flat...unless he is very cautious with qq, or likes to trap/slowplay kk/aa.
2 diamonds ( with an Ace?) might have also played oppo's line.

I might have been inclined to raise oppo's flop bet.

This is a 6max game with only 5 players, it's not BvB, it's 3 way. Villain does not have lagtard stats for the game format.

Villain is raising a limper, and flatting a 3bet. Then leading big on the flop. His range isn't any 2 cards.

Its a terrible way for the villain to play a value hand, it just looks like he wants you to fold, so I'd just jam it in on the turn and there are a lot of bad river cards for us that he can rep.
