Hello everyone, I have no stats on villain.

partypoker, Hold'em No Limit - $0.05/$0.10 - 4 players
Replay this hand on Upswing Poker - https://upswingpoker.com/replayer/19A5FSaIt

Player3 (UTG): $10.10 (101 bb)
Hero (BU): $18.60 (186 bb)
Player1 (SB): $27.58 (276 bb)
Player2 (BB): $14.38 (144 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.15) Hero (Hero) is BTN with 9♦ T♦
Player3 (UTG) raises to $0.25, Hero (BU) 3-bets to $0.75, 2 players fold, Player3 (UTG) calls $0.50

Flop: ($1.65) 7♦ 2♥ Q♦ (2 players)
Player3 (UTG) checks, Hero (BU) bets $0.89, Player3 (UTG) calls $0.89

Turn: ($3.43) K♥ (2 players)
Player3 (UTG) checks, Hero (BU) bets $2.10, Player3 (UTG) raises to $8.46 (all-in)

I hated myself for betting on turn, but I have question, how would you play it? Do you c-bet flush draws ip as preflop aggresor, do you second barrel on K? All comments appreciated

IMO, we should be double barreling OTT but our sizing should be way more bigger than you used.
On the other side of things, when you do c-bet OTT and Vilain pushes, we can be folding from time to time, we don't need to bluff 100% of our draws, or we don't need to do anything a 100% of times while playing poker, specially at the micros.
The Turn is a good card for your range because you could have AK, KK, KQ, etc, hands that 3-bet preflop, for this reason Villain/UTG should not be pushing OTT, but hey, this is just 10 NLHE.

Thank you for reply Carlos. Could you tell me why, is it spot for bigger sizings?

Hi Rajten,
To me it seems like the both the flop and turn c-bet was not optimal. I'm thinking this because after you raise from the button and he calls, he narrows down his range quite a bit. From what I estimate it's 88 - QQ, AQs, KQs, QJs, JTs, and AKo. Pretty much all of that but JTs and AKo will probably stick around to a c-bet. Thus I don't think you have much fold equity.

So i guess I would check back the flop and take a free card. If he bets the turn I guess I guess I would calculate my pot odds and implied odds and go from there.

What do you think?

I think you should of sized the bet on the flop much closer to 3/4 of the pot. Reasoning is it maximises fold equity. Following that I would check behind and try to actualise my equity and it gives you the opportunity to evaluate the type of hands villain has. 2p plus are going to shoot on the river from villain and if villain does have any sets and you’ve hit. You would at that point be able to get stacks in and take a juicy pot
