So I got caught up in an interesting hand today. A brief intro to the players in this hand, I have a few notes on the BU as far as opening ranges, capabilities and frequencies. BU has a pretty balanced range and is capable of bluffing rivers. I don't have many notes on SB, she seems like a pretty straight forward TAG, but I haven't seen many of her hands so until further notice I'm not calling her light on rivers. I haven't played much against CO either but from my experience, he is tight / passive. I give BU credit for being able to clock my game and have some notes on me. I have a pretty balanced range, I open a lot of hands in position, I have a three bet range and frequency and I'll give BU credit for knowing that information. So here's our hand.

wsop.com 10NL 6max Effective stacks 106BB (No HUD available for this site)
Action folds to Hero (Kh Jh) in HJ
Hero HJ ($10.60) raises to $0.28
CO calls
BU ($13.26) calls
SB folds
BB ($6.82) calls (pot $1.11)
Flop 10d 7h 10h
SB checks
Hero bets $0.58
CO folds
BU calls
BB calls ($2.75)
Turn 6c
BB checks
Hero checks
BU checks
River 2h
SB checks
Hero checks
BU bets $2.18
SB raises to $5.96 and is all in
Hero???

So Hero flops a King high flush draw on a paired board in a 4 way pot. When the button calls, I still figure him for a wide range of hands. 64h++, T6 suited++, T9o++, all 89 combos, 77-99 (I'm 90% certain TT++ 3bets me) I don't mind playing heads up against him. When the BB calls, her range is similar to BU but tighter. I think Jxh++, 10x, 89h, 77, TT. Calling behind to me means she MUST have a stronger hand than what the BU called me with.

I decided not to barrel the turn, I don't want to get check raised and have to fold, I don't want two callers and I whiff on a board that I'm not triple barrelling. Even on the river when we make our flush, I'm check calling. We're not strong enough to lead out, but we still beat lots of hand that BU can lead with. When the BB check raise jams, her range becomes very polarized but it's very clear that here we have to limit her check raising range to 10 7, 10 6, 77, TT and Axh. There are very few bluff candidates for her except MAYBE Ah Tx blocking the nut flush and I still have the button behind me.

So I'm gonna post my action and the result of hand later. I'd like some feedback on how you guys would have played this hand and I really want to know if I should have barrelled the turn. I'm also gonna run this hand through EquiLab and see if I made a theoretically correct decision based on the assigned ranges for the villains and I'll post those results too.

I must have waited too long to edit my original post. Anyways, I ran the hand through Equilab with two different ranges for the BB. The first I mixed in some offsuit tens and Qxh combo's and I get equity percentages of

Hero 40.46%
BU 30.99%
BB 27.55%

By those numbers I should be shoving in this spot but, I really didn't think that the BB would be check raising the river with J10o++ so I then eliminated the offsuit tens and a couple of the lower Qxh flushes. The equity values change drastically.

Hero 27.62%
BU 29.33%
BB 43.05%

In the end I put the BB on the tighter of the two river check raise ranges. If she had mucked I was just planning on check calling the button so I ran that through EquiLab too. Apparently that would have been the wrong play because heads up against the button's range the equity was 61.40% / 38.60% in my favor. Here's the end of the hand:

Hero folds
BU calls $3.78 and mucks 3h 4h
BB shows Ah 9h and wins $13.93

Edit: I messed up the math in the spoiler for the final pot total lol

I think you played the hand perfectly fine until the river. I don't love checking because I think the only hands worse than ours that will be for us are most likely worse flushes. I'd rather bet myself.

As played facing the bet AND the check/jam, I expect to see the nut flush or better VERY often. I would be begrudgingly folding.

I would probably probably fold in this spot, the way he is playing the hand he either flopped the nuts and was trapping you (10-7s) or he hit a flush draw and thinks his is higher than yours. You would only be beating a Q-high flush draw or a maybe a 9-7 flush(used two pairs to call you down, hit his flush on river and thought you didn't have it)

I'd also remember the name of the player that turned 3h4h as I'd like to play more tables with that guy :)

You could check flop, but you should probably also mix in some flush draws even though I would much rather bluff with the nut FD (You are 4 to the flop, it's hard for anyone to exploit you if you check fold a lot, so choosing your bluffs a bit more carefully might help). Anyways K-high FD and BD-SD is also a good hand to bluff.

I like the check on the turn, you have better hands to continue bluffing with.

The river Is though, I doubt BU could have a T here because he should have bet the turn and/or raised the flop (dependent on kicker I guess). However he could definantly have a fullhouse hoping that one of you would spike the flush and he could also have the nut flush draw. When both you and the SB show weakness I think BU could also have some bluffs since he can surely represent a hit flush or full house.

SB range should be really weak (it was not, so that is worth taking a note on), the turn checked through so for him to check a value hand seems odd. When he shoves I would not have any clue as to what he has, my only guess would be slow played full house, but based on the play I would assume he is not that good of a player and that he could V-raise a hand worse than yours (low flush, T or any other poorly played hand).

I think you should call here some times and fold others, it's close but folding is definantly fine.

Also, you should not have included the spoiler, me and everyone else is probably a bit biased :)

Also, I would like to have seen a bet on the river. If you check your hand becomes a bluff catcher against BU anyways so why not just put in a small V-bet hoping that someone has a smaller flush

ALWAYS leading the river.....

Your missing so much value, honestly if they have 2s and check the turn good luck to them, but its hard to see someone checking 2 pair or better on the turn in a multi way pot with a juicy draw out there. also maybe even betting then turn depending on opposition

Check range on this flop multiway, it is extremely hard to balance it otherwise and have a good range if even optimal, as played i think you should bet the river for value yourself, the fold on the river is good

Checking the flop is an option multi way but on this board you can get plenty of hands to fold and deny equity to villains. They also have plenty of worse hands that cant call a second barrel pp's and 7x plus some Ax floats.I would fire the second barrel on the turn if i'm taking a flop cbet line. The flush outs are almost certainly good and you also have 2 over cards that will be good a decent amount of the time. As played i guess it's a crying call although folding could be ok.
