Dealt to Hero [ Qd 8d ]
Player4 folds
Player5 folds

Player3 raises [$0.80 USD]
Player6 folds
Hero calls [$0.40 USD]
** Dealing Flop ** [ Jd, 2d, Kh ]
Player3 bets [$3.02 USD]
Hero calls [$3.02 USD]

I always have problems with shortstakers . On the flop I have like 45% equity so the call is somewhat correct. The question is preflop. Should I call that min 3-bet against this type of player if I have position or it is a bad play?

You could see it as a spot to shove over him, Q8s doesn't have loads of value, however by 4 bet shoving you are representing a monster and could be gaining a lot of value. His 3 bet % is 40% so he has every chance of being light here. And if he does not fold you probabally still have 2 live cards

Haven't stoved it but if the villain has any combo of Axd, Kxd, I don't think you have 45%. You can stove it and find out.

Pre, personally I never fold to this size 3b, in or out of position. You are just getting too good of odds with any two. After the flop, I would just fold. This guy is playing 56% of his hands and you have position on him. I would wait for a better spot.

Calling pre is fine (since you have position), then on the flop you should just jam it in. We can get him to fold a lot of stuff here - since he looks really aggro he's going to have to throw away a lot of his flop cbet range facing a raise.

Woops, my mistake.

If Q high can ever be good, we fist-pump call. If hitting a Q is ever going to give us the best hand, we can call. If not, then it's pretty darn close imo. But as someone else said, if he's pulling this nonsense preflop and then overbet jamming flops, we can take a hand like this and just 4b jam it pre, since so much of his range will have to fold.
