$10 NLHE 6-max: Flop nut straight, turn pairs board, he shoves river

I've just gone through a bit of a downswing so dropped stakes to try and rebuild some confidence so I don't really know many of the players yet. The guy in this hand is completely unknown


UTG - Hero ($10)
CO ($10)
BTN ($10)
SB ($12.78)
BB ($10)

Hero is dealt Ad,Kd

Preflop ($0.15)
Hero raises to $0.30, 2 folds, SB raises to $1, 1 fold, Hero calls

Flop ($2) is Qs,Jh,10c
SB checks, Hero bets $1.20, SB calls

Turn ($4.28) is Jc
SB bets $2.25, Hero calls

River ($8.55) is 2s
SB bets $8.38 and is all in, Hero?

Firstly is preflop ok? He 3bet my utg raise so I decided to just call and see a flop in position. Flop the nuts and the board hits his range hard, was surprised he checked, so I bet and he calls. Then the board pairs and he comes alive. Don't think he's ever doing this with KK or AA, so surely its just QQ/JJ/TT/AK. Don't know why he'd check the flop with those hands but I don't though the player. Is there anything we beat though? Maybe a fishy AJ?

So are you always happy just getting it in pre with AK in 6max? (unless we have some read on villain that he's never 3betting/5betting all in without AA/KK)

Just like every other poker scenario... its all villain dependent.

Well yea so in this case where villain is unknown why are we just assuming he's 3betting my UTG raise with worse
