Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 35/6/1.4

I only played a few hands with this guy prior to this hand, but I already had him pegged as a pretty bad player. I thought about this one a good amount as it happened and marked it for review because I'm just not sure what the correct play would have been.

I'm folding but I'm probably being results orientated but any re-raises on the flop/ all ins when I have top pair I'm laying down. Burnt too many times by trips.

He has wide range raising from CO. What's his attempt to steal %?

Actually he doesn't have a wide range from the CO. He raises 6% overall so the fact that he actually opened means his range is pretty narrow here. I'm not a fan of the 3bet preflop. I think you can call or fold preflop.

Yea, I guess I shouldn't have 3-bet here. I've been 3-betting fairly light for awhile, but I think I might change that.

Anyways, I folded this. I was 50/50 on what I wanted to do and just folded. Good thing for me was that he gave me some free info by showing his hand. He had QT of diamonds here.

Ya, dont really like the 3 bet too much unless you've seen them call 3 bets really wide. With a 6% open its hard to imagine a range he calls with that you beat.

stop being results orientated, people dont shove trips on the flop anywhere near the amount of the time they shove draws and crap. Snap calling this.
