Thought I could be ahead of quite a few hands here, however the thought of the villain flopping a set did cross my mind.

I would flat call flop, once he raises you're turn bet I would fold

I think you're probably right Yoshi! If I were to jam here and worst case scenario he does have me beat I still have 7 outs (16% equity).

I could be ahead vs. top pair, two pair and straight draws in this spot. I still think you're probably right, but if I had pushed all-in on the turn do you think that would be a really bad play?

Not an awful play, but I still don't like it, there are no straight draws/two pairs on that board that would take this line (I think, obviously can't be certain). Also the only hand you may beat are other 7/X which is very unlikely as you have one 7, so when he shoves I expect straight/full house so so often here.
