The villain is new to the table, so you don't really have much information on him. However, I still think you should bet half the pot. You could also look to pot control and check it back so that you can check/call the river (depending on what card falls). Ya, either one is a possibility.

I'm thinking if he had a monster hand like AA-KK-QQ, he would have reraised you on the flop. JJ is definitely a possibility. He could also be holding two over spade cards like KsQs/KsJs (probably not AsKs, but not sure) or even a flopped set. Very hard to determine because he's new to the table.

Bet 3/4 of what is in the pot on the turn and be happy about any calls. Be prepared to fire again on the river and hope for some calls there as well. If the card on the river is a face card bet smaller. If it isn't bet 1/2 to 3/4 the pot

I guess you've got to think you're good... If he has a set... That's poker.

I like the pot control idea, but you're missing out value from spade draws.. A8 (I think it was 8 high flop?) might be possible too..

Hard to say without a read.. I'd put an argument toward betting 3/4 pot here and maybe checking behind on river depending on cards? If you bet 1/2 then you're giving him odds to call with spade draw (assuming you're calling a bet on the river).

there was 6.05 in the pot on Turn so i commited there.

I tend to 4 bet in that situation with KK majority of time because i rarely get those runouts

It was one 4 hands I had from yesterday all 3bet and I had overpair on the flop on each and im so struggling with them
